Karen is a supportive counselling therapist dedicated to helping clients of all ages and all abilities strengthen their mental health and improve their wellbeing.

Whatever it is that you’re dealing with, whether you need someone to vent to, a sounding board or a professional to support you to create long term change, Karen is there for you.

Throughout my career and life, I’ve had a calling to help people. I’ve also had a love of animals, particularly horses, and nature. As a therapist, I package this all together to gently support you to find solutions to whatever is challenging you. Together we will work towards your goals and make the shifts you want to create long term change in your mindset, behaviours and life.

I’m guided by the principles of Person-Centred Therapy. This approach emphasises your unique experiences, perspectives and strengths. I’m trained to listen empathetically, provide unconditional support and empower you to make changes and take control of your life.

With kindness and compassion, I’ll walk beside you as we explore what’s going on for you, your challenges, frustrations and limitations, helping you gain self-awareness, release self-doubt, and uncover greater clarity and understanding of what makes you happy.

Drawing from the inspiration of the natural world and the wisdom it offers, this allows me to incorporate these principles into our therapy sessions.

My online counselling services are conducted from the comfort and convenience of your own home. If you prefer to come to Kurnell, we can meet in my office or take a walk in the neighbouring Kamay Botany Bay National Park or along the beautiful beaches on our doorstep.

Whether you’re in your own home, my office or walking through nature, I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a place where you feel most comfortable. Together we can navigate life’s challenges.
