Riding Lessons
Posh Pony riding lessons are all about building confidence around ponies and horses. Our lessons are held in a ring on a lunge line where the rider will be
supported to learn in a safe, confined environment. We go through everything from approaching the horse, grooming and gaining a connection to
mounting and learning to walk and trot.
Learning to ride is such a beautiful experience and you can learn so much from horses and the way they interact with us.
If you want to learn to ride in a safe, supported environment, we’d love to look after you.
Alvin the pony and Zappa the horse are available for lessons. They are both beautiful, gentle souls, perfect for beginner riders or experienced riders who want to fine tune their technique.
Lessons are usually 30 or 60 minutes and are held in Kurnell.
Pony Rides
Pony Rides are perfect for young children who love horses and ponies but aren’t quite ready to learn to ride independently. We will introduce you to our
beautiful pony Alvin who you can’t help but fall in love with.
We’ll take your child for a leisurely walk so they can get used to being on a pony and experience all the joy they can bring.
We will be holding the lead line at all times and your child can either sit back and enjoy the ride or we can start introducing them to some basic lessons
about horses.
Alvin has been working with children for many years. He loves children just as much as they love him.
Pony rides are 15 minutes and held in Kurnell.
